穩定物價小組如「廢物」？吳秀明：公平會是一員但不苟同 May 17th 2012, 03:11 〔記者顏真真╱台北報導〕在政府宣布油電雙漲後，國內民生物資齊喊漲，但國際原物料卻是直直落，也讓政府穩定物價小組被轟如同「廢物」，今（17）日在立法院經濟委員會也引發立委關注，痛批政府無能，也質疑公平會並未發揮功能。對此，公平會主委吳秀明表示，公平會是穩定物價小組一員，但被批「廢物」不能苟同，在小組中各部會各司其職，政院非常重視物價穩定。
